Ook de tweede sessie van de Supersport 600 boys verliep niet helemaal vlekkeloos en werd per rode vlag twee keer onderbroken.
Na een verlangzaamde morgensessie door een nat circuit werd de tweede sessie eerst een keer gestopt door de bekende meeuwen op het circuit en daarna door een kapot gelopen Yamaha van Jules Cluzel die olie over het circuit had "gesproeid".
Slachtoffers van Cluzel's "oliespoor" werden Steven Odendaal en Hannes Soomer (beide Yamaha) die, onafhankelijk van elkaar, beide met hoge snelheid crashten.
